Look angles
DishArc represents the site and a geostationary orbital longitude as Earth-centred vectors, forms the line of sight, rotates it into local east/north/up coordinates, and derives true azimuth and elevation. LNB skew is shown with the behind-dish viewing convention stated in the app.
Orbital slots
The bundled catalog is a convenience list of common geostationary longitudes, not a live transponder database or promise of service. Availability, footprint, licensing, polarization, and provider assignments can change.
Obstructions
The roof mask is a user-marked visual planning reference. It is not depth sensing, surveying, photogrammetry, or a certified clearance measurement.
Verification
Reference vectors are tested on both platforms to within 0.01°. Final alignment still requires an RF receiver or meter and safe installation practice.
